• August 14, 2012 – present, Northland Preparatory Academy, Flagstaff, Arizona, Director of Bands, HS Drama, ELL Specialist. Developed scope and sequence for Fine Arts Department, developed capacity planning for Fine Arts department, started new program of HS Drama, resurrected HS Band program and continued development of beginning band at the school.

 

• August 1, 2011 – June 6 2012, Northland Preparatory Academy, Flagstaff, Arizona, Dean of Students.  Responsible for student academic maintenance, State mandated AIMS testing, ELL Specialist and casework, HS Graduation Coordination, Yearbook, and development of instrumental music program.

 

• May 2001 – Present, Gallery Artist and Stained Glass Business owner, Flagstaff, Arizona Stained glass artist in multiple Flagstaff and Sedona art galleries.  Responsible for customer service, art commissions, shift work, PR and marketing.  Includes all sales and related such as ordering, packing, and shipping.

 

• August 14, 2007 – July 2011, Flagstaff Unified School District #2, Flagstaff, Arizona, ELL Specialist/SIOP Coach at multiple facilities; Responsible for ELL casework, SEI teacher supervision, Intensive English Program implementation (Level I Reading), and Peer Instructional (SIOP) coaching. 

 

• August 8, 2006 – December 20, 2006; Administrative Internship, Mount Elden Middle School/Renaissance Magnet MS.  Integral to school administrative operations and functions including, developing and maintaining administrative processes, research, desegregation of data, information management, scheduling, student discipline, faculty decision making, budget, conferencing, and public relations.

 

• 1996 – 2007, Flagstaff Unified School District #2, Flagstaff, Arizona, Renaissance Magnet Middle School, Science Instructor; Instrumental team leader involved with setup and initiation of new magnet school, including vision/mission statements, curricular objectives, scheduling, and standards achievement goals.  Focus on integration and classroom technological applications, grant writing, and team curricular integrated units of study.

 

• 1991 – 1996, Williams Unified School District #2, Williams, Arizona

       5th, 6th, Middle School and High School Bands, HS Drama, 1-6 grade          music.  Highly visible as a community figure and acutely involved              with community activities revolving around fine arts and                            performance; Integral to school culture, climate, and “team” spirit.              NW Regional Festival director.
